Italian army and Italian Embassy in Latvia supports children living in social centers of Latvian Red Cross

On 8 December, 2021, Uldis Likops, Secretary General, and Agnese Trofimova, Head of International and Public Relations of the Latvian Red Cross (LatRC), met with the Ambassador of Italy in Latvia H.E. Stefano Taliani de Marchio and with the delegation of NATO Enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia – Lieutenant Colonel, Commander of the Italian Contingent Giovanni Graziano and his colleagues. EUR 2400.00 donation was given to the Latvian Red Cross with the purpose to support children living in LatRC’s social centres. The money has been collected by the “Former Bersaglieri Association – Campania section” (“Associazione Bersaglieri d’Italia – Regione Campania“) with a contribution of the Embassy of Italy in Latvia.

In August, 2021 Italian contingent of NATO Enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia visited the secretariat of the LatRC and expressed a desire to be socially active and to give their support to the society of Latvia.
