In this special time of the year children and their parents – inhabitants of the Latvian Red Cross short-stay accommodation centre Burtnieks” and Latvian Red Cross Crisis Centre Burtnieks” – are especially pleased. The last few days families have spent time together in order to prepare the Christmas joy to themselves firstly they wrapped the Christmas gifts that have been supported by the Norwegian Red Cross Ullensaker branch, decorated premises and were expecting the Christmas miracles.

This year, those were both gifts and specially prepared concert program “Christmas anticipation” which included beautiful and inspiring songs and was performed by Latvian Red Cross children’s center “Stropini” youth volunteers, along with Latvian Red Cross Home Care” organizer Janis Timermanis.

Miracles do happen!
