From 10 to 12 February, a delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross visited Latvia. During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the Latvian Red Cross, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, the Prime Minister’s Office of Latvia, and the Crisis Management Centre of Latvia.
The aim of the meetings was to discuss issues related to emergency preparedness, international humanitarian law, and forms of cooperation between the Red Cross and state institutions at both strategic and practical levels, with particular attention to the coordination of activities.
We thank all those involved for the valuable discussions, the exchange of experience and information, and the joint efforts to strengthen society’s preparedness for crisis situations.
Together, we can help!
