Since 17 December 2018, the Association “Latvian Red Cross” implements the project  “One Life”. The project is financed by the Education, Culture and Sports Department of Rīga City Council.

Project implementation period: 17 December 2018 – 31 March 2019 

Objective: Improvement of youngsters’ competences in cooperation, team work and provision of first aid, as well as ability to use their knowledge in teaching their peers and participating in first aid events.

Project implementation place: Riga

Key activities and results of the project:

Key activities: 

Involvement of project participants, team building;
First aid training and opportunity to obtain first aid certificate;
Further activities in strategic planning think tank;
Practical involvement of participants in first aid training in Riga’s schools and youth centres;
Preparation of informative materials on first aid.
Planned results:

Informative materials developed on first aid;
Educated 30 youngsters in Riga, age 15 to 30;
Four first aid training courses have been organised to project participants, and participants have led their first aid training courses at schools and youth centres of Riga.
Total budget of the project: EUR 2,071.30
