Project description: The goal of “ESSI Baltic” is to help Ukrainian civilians who have taken refuge in the Baltic States better integrate into local society and the labor market. The project’s activities aim to reduce language barriers, provide practical knowledge about local life, promote employment and social cohesion, and foster community and volunteer support for Ukrainian civilians.
Main project activities:
- Career counseling and support in job searches, co-financing for professional courses
- Latvian language programs for employment and everyday life
- Cultural orientation sessions and informational materials about various services
- Community engagement events and volunteer programs
Project implementation period: April 2025 – September 2026
Project partners: Lithuanian Red Cross, Estonian Red Cross
